High Aimshaugh self catering holiday farmhouse is situated on a working farm where the Harrison family have farmed for five generations. We farm approx 1400 acres and have 100 beef cattle and 1000 sheep. The accommodation is central for touring the Pennines, Lake District, Hadrian's Wall, Northumbrian Coast, Carlisle, Hexham and Durham. The nearest town of Alston is 2 miles away with its cobbled streets and a collection of shops and attractions.
Recently refurbished, the property has a farmhouse kitchen, central heating, AGA, a cosy open fire and a broadband internet connection. Fishing is available nearby on the River South Tyne. Open farmland provides beautiful walks, ideal for those in need of relaxation.
